Learning To Design

I am excited to improve upon my design skills. I just met with Mogul Magazine's page designer. Although Mogul uses a different design program, there are still a ton of similarities. For practice, I am designing a spread on the track and field page for Jeff High. I am the girls track coach, thus I thought it would be fun to work on something that I am familiar with. Then Mogul’s page designer is going to critique the spread to help me improve. Last time we met, we looked at templates and we addressed how to handle white space, using cut outs and other elements to make designs pop. We will meet a few more times prior to the start of the school year, so I can keep honing upon my skills. In the meantime, I will be working on my track and field spread.
